Our Story
After being in the document filing industry for over 8 years, one of the founders noticed that something was missing. What was missing was a focus on corporate compliance and ongoing maintenance. Many document filing firms were eager to start a company for someone but not too keen on making sure the clients were educated on yearly state requirements. Many of the founder’s friends had LLC or other businesses and would ask questions from time to time about what the requirements were. Almost everyone who asked for help was past due with their required yearly state filing and taxes. They realized that these people were great at what they did: Home Automation, Real Estate, and Construction…etc. but they were terrible at paperwork and making sure their company remained in compliance with state guidelines and required filings.
After doing some more research, our founder noticed that 30-50 percent of all new companies failed to file their reports simply because they did not even know the reports are required. What was even more shocking was that about 10-20 percent of established companies failed to file as well. Knowing that approximately 2 million LLC and Corporations are filed each year in the United States they noticed there was an opportunity. DoMyLLC was born and it was time to come up with a cost effective solution to ensure new and existing business’ remained in compliance.
